400 Wave Points = 1 coffee

Example reward at a local café. Local rewards can carry up to 10% more value. The bonus doesn’t apply to every redemption option.

The reward doesn’t have to end when it’s spent.

After spending their employer reward, employees can earn new Wave Points through qualifying purchases at participating SQUID businesses.

This is new earning from partner purchases. Spent points are not automatically restored. Wave Points expire three years after issuance.

The local bonus is up to 10%, on eligible offers only, and doesn’t apply to every redemption option. Earning is limited to SQUID partner businesses.

SQUID for Work offers non-cash employee rewards designed around Ireland’s Small Benefit Exemption, giving businesses a straightforward way to recognise their teams.

No additional SQUID platform fee.

Up to €1,500 per employee, across up to five qualifying non-cash benefits each year.

Subject to Revenue rules. Employers remain responsible for eligibility and reporting, and not every prepaid reward format automatically qualifies. This isn’t tax advice.

Do employees need the SQUID app?

Yes. It’s free to download, and it’s where employees claim their Wave Points and choose their rewards.

Can we reward a large team?

Yes. We’ll agree a distribution method that suits your team size before anything goes out.

How long do Wave Points last?

Three years from issuance. Earning new points doesn’t extend points already issued, and spent points aren’t automatically replaced.
